I found some patience to fiddle around with the look again. Still not sure if I like it though. What do you think?

I would be a lot happier if you took off "the 24 days to Christmas" bit. I think you must have made a mistake with that part. I am still thinking about your layout !! (I was just wondering if it was straight !!!???)
